To Jasper Liem, executive director of The Attic Youth Center, legacy isn’t just something we’ve inherited as a community. It’s something we continue to create today.
And the National LGBTQ Legacy Giving Initiative, a new program that aims to maximize the financial impact locals can make on their own communities through legacy giving, will help two Philadelphia nonprofits do just that. The Attic Youth Center and William Way LGBT Community Center were named as two of just 12 national organizations chosen to participate in the initiative’s first cohort.
