A transformation is officially underway at 1206 Chestnut St — the site of The Attic Youth Center’s future home. Ground broke in mid-August for the first stage of a two-phase construction project on the more than 13,000-square-foot building. The organization is prioritizing renovations that will create spaces for LGBTQ+ youth programming before creating hubs for staff and big events, with a goal to move in during fall 2027.
